Overview of the Opening Ceremony

Vietnam International Supporting Industry & Manufacturing Exhibition - VIMEXPO 2020, organized by the Department of Industry (Ministry of Industry & Trade) in collaboration with CIS Vietnam, was officially opened on December 9 morning and lasted for 3 days 9-10-11 / 12/2020 in Hanoi.

VIMEXPO 2020 has the participation of more than 170 enterprises with nearly 250 booths displaying on an area of 5,000 m2. With the target "Connect to Develop", this event aims at concretizing the Government’s Resolution No. 115/NQ-CP with the aim of providing feasible solutions to promote the development of Supporting Industry in Vietnam. 

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh stated that in the process of industrialization, manufacturing and supporting industries are always in the focus of Vietnam. In the context of Vietnam's deep integration, the opportunities free trade agreements are creating an important foundation and premise for Vietnam to develop sustainably and develop industrialization.

This exhibition has received great participation and support state management agencies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, professional associations, consuls, domestic and international trade promotion organizations and leading enterprises operating in supporting industries. During 3 days of the exhibition, participating enterprises introduced key products with the latest technologies to the market. VIMEXPO 2020 will be the starting point for Vietnamese manufacturers to strengthen joint venture, networking, cooperation and sustainable development, effectively participate in the global supply chains.
