On October 1, 2019, the closing ceremony of The training program for fostering Vietnamese consultants of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with SAMSUNG was held at the headquarter of KIMSEN Aluminum - Yen Phong Factory, Bac Ninh.

Through strict evaluation process and meeting many different standards, KIMSEN Aluminum is honored to be selected as 1 of the 5 enterprises participating in the improvement program of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with SAMSUNG July 29th to October 1st, 2019.

During 2 months of continuous working, KIMSEN Aluminum's Innovation Board, associating with Vietnamese and Korean experts, underwent an improvement course with many practical topics such as improving productivity & quality, and reducing production costs. On October 1st, 2019 at the headquarter of KIMSEN Aluminum - Yen Phong Factory, Bac Ninh, the KIMSEN Innovation Board reported the improvement with remarkable results.

Along with the Korean experts, the Vietnamese consultant team also gathered prestigious experts with extensive experience in the Vietnam Productivity Institute, Vietnam-Japan Innovation & Investment Consultancy JSC, Hanoi National University, National Economics University, etc.

The KPI that the Improvement Program has reached was equal to and exceed the initial expectations such as: Improving production capacity, Reduce mold replacement time, Reduce the proportion of waste products after age hardening, Reduce inventory at a stage, Reduce transport distance,etc.

At the end of the ceremony, the delegation agreed on a plan to maintain the improvement results and propose an appropriate maintenance roadmap in the future. The efforts and learning spirit of the KIMSEN Innovation Board have received high appreciation of Korean & Vietnamese experts.

It is certain that, with the knowledge shared in the program and the strong determination to improve, KIMSEN Aluminum will thrive more in the production & operation of the factory, as well as yield a positive effect in the future. And we also hope that there will be more programs collaborating between Ministry of Industry & Trade and organizations or corporations in the future to help businesses in Vietnam develop and integrate.
